Lessons Group


For the beginner diver with no experience who wants to learn the basic skills associated with springboard diving.  Lessons divers will learn the approach, basic positions (tuck, pike, straight), and entry.  Their development will continue as they learn the basic dives of the five diving groups (forward, backward, reverse, inward, twisting).  Lessons workouts occur four or eight times per session for 11/2 hours per practice.  These divers have the opportunity to compete in Ohio Diving League and Building Better Diving League competitions for an additional nominal cost.


Fees:    $85 for 4 workouts per session

             $130 for 8 workouts per session

          

High School Group


For divers who participate in high school and want to continue training in order to improve their skills and difficulty for the upcoming season.  These divers will continue to develop their basic skills while learning new dives to build and improve on their seasons.  This group trains six, eight, or 12 practices per session for two hours per practice.  They have the opportunity to compete in some Ohio Diving League and Building Better Diving League meets as well as Amateur Athletic Union and United States Diving sponsored meets.  Meets have an additional nominal cost.  There are minimum requirements to join this group.  High School aged divers with no experience may join this group.


Fees:    $145 for 6  workouts per session

             $165 for 8  workouts per session

             $185 for 12 workouts per session

           

Elite/Elite Lite Group


Elite Team:  For the advanced divers who wish to train with the intention of competing on the high school District Final/State meet level as well as the USA Diving national qualifying meets and AAU national competition.  Divers must show a list of intermediate/advanced skills for all five diving groups.  Elite Team divers train 16 or 20 workouts per session for 2 or 21/2 hours for a maximum of 48 hours per session.  Diving three meter is required.  Elite Team divers are expected to compete in select Ohio Diving League and Building Better Diving League meets and all club scheduled AAU and USA diving meets.


Elite Lite:  For Lessons and High School divers who have shown the ability, desire and skill development to continue on to the intermediate and advanced dive sets.  Divers must be able to easily execute basic skills and show proper development and necessary skills for more difficult dives.  Training is a minimum of 12 workouts per session for up to 21/2 hours per practice.  Diving three-meter is required.  Elite Lite divers are expected to participate in scheduled meets for the Ohio Diving League, Building Better Diving League, Amateur Athletic Union, and United States Diving.   Elite Lite divers train with the club’s Elite Team.


Fees:  $210 for 12 workouts per session

           $230 for 16 workouts per session

           $250 for 20 workouts per session

Divers will be placed in groups according to their abilities.  All sessions run four weeks in duration.
